How I got started shooting

I began shooting skeet and trap by participating in a high school league at the Olin Winchester range in East Alton, IL. It was a great experience for all of the young men and women that were involved. After my enlistment in 2002 I did not shoot again until I discovered the base rod & gun club at Shaw AFB, SC. There I met my mentor Bill Swanson and fellow AF teammate MSgt John Yanick. I shot my first registered targets in 2006 including the Armed Forces Skeet Championship.
