How I got started shooting
I've enjoyed shooting since childhood but always for recreation rather than competition. I never tried competitive shooting until 2011 when I learned that Lackland has Elementary Excellence in Competition matches every year. My interest in the upcoming EIC match led me to TSgt Brendan McGloin at the USAF Gunsmith Shop and he offered to teach a marksmanship clinic for several members of my squadron. TSgt McGloin briefed us on the Air Force National Pistol Team and explained the bullseye pistol format. Since then we've trained with TSgt McGloin and Mr Don Rupp regularly.Current training locations
