I started at my grandpa's farm when I was 8. I would visit my grandpa every summer and shoot up all his 22 LR ammo. I got bored shooting at 50 yards so I started placing coffee cans in the field at 200 paces or more and shot at them with the 22. I guess that started my love of rifles and long range shooting and when I was old enough I became an avid hunter. I didn't start to shoot competitively until 2007 when I purchased a match grade service rifle. After that I turned to the Air Force and the shooting programs to see what I was made of.
